The Aquarium of the Pacific
Thanks to a scholarship donation from Circle of Friends, 1,300 school children from the Los Angeles and Orange County areas who might not otherwise have the opportunity will be able to visit the Aquarium of the Pacific in 2003! The children will receive a tour of the Aquarium, as well as a 45 minute class with an Educational Specialist.
A non-profit organization, the Aquarium's mission is to instill a sense of wonder, respect and stewardship for the Pacific Ocean, its inhabitants and ecosystems. Their goal is to provide visitors with timely and engaging information relating to the latest news and research on the Pacific Ocean.
