In Switzerland, snow and static electricity are a staple part of the winter season. Heidi knows that styling products can help to keep her fine hair manageable in the holiday weather. Every morning she puts a dollop of Mango Samba Mousse on her hands and rubs it through her hair, before pulling her hair back in two braids at the base of her neck. The mousse keeps frizzies at bay, while the braids pull Heidi's hair out of her face so she's free to play in the snow!
For a more stylish 'do, Heidi's mom will put her hair in two French Braids. First, Heidi washes her hair with her chocolate Yodel-Ay-He Shampoo and uses Chehn's Dragon Dance Conditioner, to keep her hair tangle-free and manageable. She rubs a pea sized drop of Luc's Pomade onto her hair, making sure to get the tiny fly-away strands framing her face. Starting at the top of her head, Heidi's hair is parted down the middle. She holds the hair on one side, while her mom braids the other. When she's done, her mom braids the remaining side, securing the braid with a rubber band. For a festive twist, ribbons can be braided into the hair, or tied at the base of the braid around the rubber band. Sometimes Heidi even takes small bells and attaches them to ribbons, and ties the jingle bells around the rubber band, so that everyone knows when she's entered the party!
