The Pepperdine University Center for the Arts Guild hosts over 10,000 young schoolchildren each year and introduces them to the world of the arts. Children from all over the Los Angeles area are able to enjoy the beauty of the performing and visual arts through free trips to performances and museums. Many of these children are seeing their first performances, visiting a college campus for the first time and seeing the ocean for the first time.
There are many programs of this type, but the Pepperdine ARTSReach program is unique because it is provided at no cost to the students, including the cost of the bussing to bring them out if there is financial need. They are reaching the students that may not be able to attend these events otherwise.
Circle of Friends was able to provide items for their British Invasion fundraiser. We were happy to donate to such a great cause.
