The National Kidney Foundation of Southern California

Since 1950, The National Kidney Foundation has been leading the way in the detection, prevention and treatment of diseases of the kidney and urinary tract. Originally called the Committee for Nephrosis Research, the foundation was founded by Mr. & Mrs. Harry Debold of Tuckahoe, New York after their infant son was stricken with an unknown diseases of the kidneys.

A branch of the NKF, the National Kidney Foundation of Southern California brings help and hope to the more than one million southern Californian's who suffer from kidney and urologic diseases. They provide the communities in Southern California with patient and community services, advocacy, public and professional education, research and organ donation programs.
