This holiday season, Circle of Friends donated thousands of products to Toys for Tots. Our local Pasadena and San Luis Obispo chapters of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation received 17,174 products to distribute to needy children in Southern California.

Toys for Tots started in 1947 in Los Angeles with over 5,000 toys being distributed. The next year, the Marine Corps Reserve took the program national - complete with a logo designed by Walt Disney (the same one used today). Now, there are almost 500 local campaigns covering all 50 United States that over their 57 year history have distributed over 332.5 million toys to 158.7 million needy children.
