After-School All-Stars Los Angeles

Circle of Friends partnered with After-School All-Stars Los Angeles this past month to celebrate their 4th Annual All-Star Saturday! Reserved as a day in which students are recognized for their excellence in their studies as well as the performing arts, many students are also acknowledged for their contribution to their community and fellow peers.
Students had the opportunity to display their impressive talents in both music and choreographed dance, as well as the visual arts. Special guests speakers and community leaders handed out awards in areas like Community Service, Leadership, and Most Improved Academics to students. Sponsors including: Circle of Friends, El Pollo Loco, Nintendo, 93.5 KDAY and more participated by donating food, products and entertainment for the 3,000 outstanding students participating in this great program.
After-School All-Stars Los Angeles, formerly known as Arnold's All-Stars was founded in the spring of 2002 as an after-hours program with the intentions of enriching the studies of middle school students by providing inspiring and educational programs and classes including visual and performing arts, health and physical fitness, youth leadership and community service. After-School All-Stars is available in 15 cities, serving over 35,000 students.
