Spikes and Curls aims to take the scare out of the scissors. Instead, owners Paul and Siobhan Smith and Darren and Kirstie Stone, pride themselves in offering a range of professional children services in an innovative approach as to make what used to be known as a "chore", into a fun experience for kids and a stress-free time for parents! By offering child-sized salon chairs, a soak zone for washing hair, a spacious waiting area, and toys, books, PSP's and DVD's available at every station, the problem now becomes getting the kids back home! Having been named Surrey Small Business of the Year Finalists 2006/2007, Spikes and Curls are proud to offer the only kids' salon of its kind in Surrey, England!

Spikes and Curls provides a safe, bright and fun environment for kids to have their haircut. They offer a range of child friendly products and most importantly, Spikes and Curls has a team of dedicated child-friendly stylists which are the real key to a great experience.

"First-timers" receive a haircut in either a fire engine or airplane-shaped chair and are awarded with a photograph and a certificate including a lock of their hair, all encapsulated to treasure the occasion! Other popular services include party packages ranging from "Glamour Party" to "Me and My Best Friend" designed to meet everyone's taste and needs! New ideas and services are introduced frequently including the all new "Mum's Special" where mom has the chance to have her hair done and be pampered all while her little ones are happily being taken care of. Now if there were only a Spikes and Curls closer to home...
