Simon Says, opened in October 2005, is located in the children's department at Marshall Fields/Macys in the Old Orchard Shopping Center. Simon Says took the services that are currently available in salons specifically for kids and expanded and elevated the experience in response to their client's needs and requests. The salon has a colorful underwater theme.

They offer a complete salon experience for children including all hair cut, color and styling services, as well as, nail services and facials. Each guest is outfitted with a Simon Says custom made smock upon entering the salon and a designer bottled water is available to all guests. They specialize in girls' spa and nail parties and in working with guests who require high attention to detail. All haircuts are complete services and include a special finish. For a child's first haircut they offer a package where they burn a DVD, provide a special keepsake box and a bottle of Circle of Friends shampoo to introduce them to the importance of the Circle of Friends products to their grooming routine. Their fixtures are custom made for children and each station is equipped with videos and games geared towards kids.

Simon Says was started by the founder of Snippet's Mini-Cuts in Chicago. They are the first salon to partner with a department store to offer children's beauty services in a children's salon environment.
